We have started to discuss the vision, mission, nature, purpose of the Academy during the first meeting. Until now, we have not defined and arrived at a consensus on this yet. I think this is very important since the other things that we are supposed to discuss will have this as basis. I hope something concrete comes out of the second meeting regarding this.
You are right. however it also true that we hE GOT SOME SUBSIDIES FOR THE way forward and summaryu of discussions. we need tol vreate a group to put together the results of the diiscussions so far and come up with the common vision, nature and purpose of the academy
Indeed, we can already get a lot of inputs from this meeting to develop our charter. I have already volunteered to Shaddy to be part of this small group.
Yes, Tess, I think we must move ahead with this discussion today - it is what we came for and we need to leave with clear ideas. I agree that a group should get together and work on the details, but I think it should take some lines of reference from the consensus here.
The nature and purpose of the Academy is becoming clearer now. From the first session day 3 i gather from the discussions that sustainability is critical regardless of whether one sees the academy as profit making or not profit making. The second session on the third day will be even more interesting to hear the different views from participants on roles and responsibilities of the GTA and NTA.
