About Me (biography and organization description)

lawyer; 4 years of EU consultancy; 10 years secretary general of a business association for e-business, content-industries, e-learning and e-Government. Advisor to two think-tanks in Germany and Switzerland, to two international content-associations in USA and Asia and member of various standardisation bodies and telehouse organisations (e.g. GTA).

Areas of interest/expertise and types of services provided:

Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe (foundations of citizens, taxation benefits, public-private-partnership, PPP); Content+metadata+terminology is THE driving force for any content-industry and e-business. The Government holds the largest sources of any data and the re-use of such public sector information should support the work of NGOs, telecenters and local multimedia-companies. Thats the aim of the eContentplus programme of the EU and their job creation policy.
Furthermore, I have been working and living since 1995 in various EASTERN EUROPEAN countries as Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and the Baltics and delivered lectures there.
