- D.Net (Development Research Network) is a non-profit organization, which envisages to use information and communication technology (ICT) for economic development of Bangladesh. Incepted in January 2001, D.Net obtained legal status under the Societies Act 1860 with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Bangladesh. Working with interfaces of all development use, D.Net thrives to build up itself as a multi-disciplinary organization.
My responsibilities in D.Net:
• Coordinating the team (Center Management Team-CMT) for monitoring and evaluating telecentre performance through a system;
• Developing Communication strategy;
• Keeping and analyzing updated status of centre operations
• Developing partnership with different organizations;
• Preparing document with learning experiences;
• Participating in research activities and preparation of research reports;
• Capacity building of the community based information, knowledge and learning centres (telecentre) in rural areas
• Visiting centres following a schedule
• Analyzing filed report for improving centre performance
• Facilitate training for Infomediary
• Organizing/Managing events for national coalition for telecentre movement and follow-up
• Performing any other task assigned by the management relevant to D.Net's core activities
