The second day was a long working day with some crucial discussions and outputs. We started the day with some simple Yoga excercises that focused on breathing and simple moves that stretched the muscles and joints of the team. Work continued on the Portal and how to improve the different functions to stregthen the community. Two groups of the Community Facilitators discussed the Groups, Photos, Videos and Forums in one part of the day and Blogs, Events, and Members made the main topics of three other working groups in the afternoon. Partners initiatives were presented by Floro and reflected upon by the team. Making the best use of those initiatives as well as promoting their roles in the overal strategy of the Global Telecentre.org was stressed upon. Two initiatives were discussed further, namely the Help Desk and Dev. Gateway.

We also visited a telecentre at L'Hospitalet that is supported by Esplai. Some amazing efforts are taking place there. What amazed me the most was the fact that the place is more than a community center with a lot of functionalities but the most amazing part was the ownership and engagement of the community which is part of the foundation's strategy.

We had a real nice time eating some good food, discussed some work, shared ideas and indeed shared some good laughs there. The key word (of the fun part) of the day was the "Paparazzi", which was used to call the majority of the team as we crazily used our cameras today in the telecentre visit and during dinner.
Our colleague Fousseyni led our marching out of "Barbacoa de gracia" resturant and we marched in the street like army soldiers hitting the ground as we headed toward the bus while singing something in French after him :)

Now I have to think about a tough energizer to wake us up tomorrow morning before we start the third day of hard work.
